Anyone into smart home stuff?

A security camera in my garage will tell me if the doors are open but it won’t allow me to open and close them.

Dude you're singing my tune. It's just personal preference, but my employer knows all about my life, monitors my movements and everything else, and the two tracking devices (iphones) I take with me every day probably know how spicy I like my Thai food. I feel like my home is my last sanctuary of privacy (as I express this sentiment from my easy chair to the internet lol).

@Chris is probably selling our TJ wheeling habits to The Internet for millions.

I want to get a smart doorbell/camera, but I still really don't like the idea of having to rely on some company for storage and such. I'd really just rather have all the video stored on a hard drive at home with no one else accessing it, but I guess that makes it difficult to handle the remote access to view the live video when you're not at home.

Are you a good snowflake or a bad snow flake?
I hate the ones who are all non-symmetrical with weird crystal forms and too many flares...
But then again... you own a jeep... so you may qualify for a pass card... Just sayin...
