Thanks

If you are going to try this, I would really recommend trying something like Plastidip first. If you don't like the way it looks, you can literally just peal the paint off.

I personally don't think that is a good idea. With a black Jeep with tires and black wheels, I think it is going to look a little strange with no contrast at all. If you decide to do it, I would make sure to run white-letter tires.

On the other hand, I think a white Jeep with white painted Moabs would look bad-ass.

I hate black wheels.
If you like your Moabs, keep in mind you won't be able to see them once they're black.
However, it's your jeep, Do what you want.
I'm sure if you Google it, you will find plenty of images out there.

The plasti-dip spray is a good idea, because IMO the black wheel fad is finally on it's way out.

I hate black wheels more than anything. Especially on a black car 😉

Well I guess it's a good thing my wheels are not black but more a gunmetal grey color

I guess it also depends on what they are on.

I think this:

Looks a hell of a lot better than this:

...and it hides all the brake dust.

Of course I did have a dude when I was coming out of grocery store store say "S'up Batman?", I responded that I had a city to save.

Do the plastidip first, if you don't like it, peel it off. If you do like it, just hope you never run into @Chris out there ;)

EDIT: Do they even have Plastidip in Greece?

I think blacking out a TJ is too much. The silver wheels look way better, providing some contrast. I think black on black looks pretty good on a sports car, as long as there is an accent color like red or silver.

The small time dealer that I bought my Jeep from painted my wheels black, not sure why. He said he thought they looked better. I don’t really mind but my style factor is pretty low!

Please don’t paint them black. I bought my Jeep like this:

hours with a power washer, they sort of cane clean.

Well, I’m on the black wheels train. I thought my Jeep looked terrible until I jacked it up and threw black wheels on it. I actually think it looks pretty damn cool now.

Full disclosure, I have black wheels. I wanted beadlocks and didn’t have the cash for walkers....so black it is.

I like the look of the dark grey but again it's different enough from the black that it's a good contrast!

I went all blackout on my 06 TJR. Except for the wheels. I went with a charcoal. Get a lot of compliments. Especially the rim choice.View attachment 161245View attachment 161249
