....I didnt realize there was a blown 20A fuse! Obviously I didn’t diagnose my stall intelligently enough prior to changing the pump, but it worked out anyway. I got to clean and coat the frame above the tank and was able to remove all the nuts without issue.

My question is, could the fuse have blown while I was trying to start her up after my first stall? Prior to failure, I filled up my tank and drove my Jeep hard down the highway. It stalled after stopping to let someone cross the street. Then I attempted to start her quite a few times, and it would, but stumbled for 5 seconds and die. I stepped away for 2 hours and when I attempted then, there was no start, just cranking, cranking.

Could a dead fuel pump cause a blown fuse?

Yes, a bad fuel pump could cause the fuse to blow. If it blows again, inspect the wiring circuit for the fuel pump.

The fuse would blow due to a short in the wiring (scraping on something and shorting to ground) or the fuel pump could have been bad and drawing excessive amperage and popped it.
