I wonder if lj and those homemade stetched wranglers with 112 etc wheelbases are softer ride than tj? What about those egyptian/israeli ones ? They have jk wheelbase.

All other thing the same, the lj will be a softer ride on the street than a tj. But the majority of the time a bad ride on a tj can be fixed with better shocks.
Which part is incorrect? I thought all other factors being the same, wheelbase helped. Or are you saying shocks can’t help
I have both. Both in 04 versions. Both were stock. Both had tolerably good tires. Both had the same shocks that I swapped in to see the effects of. Both were done that way to compare ride quality differences attributable to wheelbase ONLY. Unless you are a highly attuned individual to the most subtle nuance in NVH, the differences were practically indiscernible. If I blindfolded you and took you over the same route for each one, the above average individual could not tell which was which.Which part is incorrect? If wheelbase were as important as folks try to make it out to be, then my 05 Dodge tow rig with the long bed and crew cab should be one of the nicer riding vehicles on the planet and it is far from that.
I hear that a good set of rancho ra5000x shocks and a set of metal cloak control arms will fix you up with that ride!

I did. Someone left a set of RS5000's here for a 4" lift. Guy I helped said he needed something for his sister's rig. I told him he could have them, just get them out of here. He tossed them in his rig and threw 50 bucks at me so ya'll keep talking them up, ain't hurting my feelings at all.
