I’ve screwed up one of my rear window zips. I had them zipped up the sides to flip my rear window up to get groceries in the back. But when zipping it down to close it jammed on me, I should have known better than to force it and now it looks like this.

It absolutely won’t go up any more (I feel like I’m going to pull the zipper off if I pull any harder) and now it only zips down half an inch.

Anyone know any tricks to fix this?

In case you’re wondering it’s the original top.

Release the front latches and release the bottom from the tailgate to take the tension off. Lube it with a good dry lube then work the pull up & down to get the pull back up above that point.

That same thing has happened to my TJ's zippers an uncountable number of times over the past 20+ years and they all finally worked back into place.
