Very lucky to not have any rust problems especially in your area. The first thing I would do is try to keep it that way. Drill drain holes in the frame clean the inside out good and check for internal rust. Eastwood Internal frame coating is a good product to use when you get done. Our Jeeps are very prone to frame rust because Factory didn’t put any drain holes in it.

Thank you for the advise. What I did so far was completely strip out the interior and what little rust there was I sanded it out then I painted the tub with a rubberized coating. I will drill a drain hole in it I didn't think of that. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled the carpet and barely saw any rust.

Thanks I am looking forward to having some fun with it... Although I did buy it for my wife I seem to be the one having a blast
A good wife is hard to find. A good Jeep is priceless. I've had 3 (EX) wives and 19 Jeeps. The Jeeps cost me must less in the end and were way more fun to play with after several years🤪.

Keep tabs on your wallet. It's about to get so thin that you'll forget it's even in your pocket.

Also: if you haven't memorized your credit card number in under five days, you're not doing it right.
