New to the Jeep world. Just getting started on my 2001 project.
I always drill 1/2" holes about 6" on each side of the skid. That's where most water settles IMO.I will drill a drain hole in it I didn't think of that.

All of the above. Look at the holes in the side of the frame. They are 1-1.5" high on the sides, so any water (car wash too) settles in there.How does the water get into the frame? From wheeling? Driving in the rain?

A good wife is hard to find. A good Jeep is priceless. I've had 3 (EX) wives and 19 Jeeps. The Jeeps cost me must less in the end and were way more fun to play with after several years.Thanks I am looking forward to having some fun with it... Although I did buy it for my wife I seem to be the one having a blast
