Hi everybody, I’m very new to these forums I am new to Jeeps. I bought a 2000 Sahara two weeks ago and took it out for its first shake down this weekend. Put about 600 miles on the jeep, of which about 100 were off road. I noticed when I got home that my left fog lamp is missing. Pictures taken during a Hillclimb show it hanging by the wires, but we didn’t notice it until it was too late. Does anybody recognize the manufacturer of this winch/bumper so I have some hope of getting another fog lamp to match, or am I going to be stuck getting aftermarket ones and fabricating a mount. Thank you in advance, I’m looking forward to a lot of fun with this Jeep!

Mopar/aev rock crawler. Warn m8000 an old version. Not 100% sure on the winch. Nice bumper

It's just the stock 97-04 Jeep OEM fog light. You can find used ones on ebay. Looks like you got the 2000 Sahara that was for sale in Tempe. I had my eye on that bumper when the Jeep appeared for sale. lol

I remember thinking the same thing since I regularly browse the Phoenix and Tucson area lol. Someone posted a YJ on FB marketplace with front and rear rock crawler bumpers and wanted like 3500 for it. Thought about buying it just to steal the bumpers and sell it for about the same.

@Peavine congrats on the sale! Looked like a nice Jeep from the ad. I have a 2000 Sahara as well.

yep, mine came with this bumper. I like the look, but if you end up lifting it and going toward aftermarket swaybar solutions it won’t work (the reason I sold mine). If you keep it stock or use disconnects, it works just fine.

That bumper sucks. You should sell it to me along with the rear. Here’s what they look like all new 😀

I used to obsesses over those bumpers, now not so much. I don't even really like them anymore.

Anyways, welcome to the forum (y)

I think they are decent for a mild build. Hanson’s are my favorite bumpers but the new owner sucks And has ruined the product.

Believe it or not, I actually like the Savvy bumpers even for mild builds. I think it's just the minimalist look I'm after, which is why the Savvy looks so good to me. But even then, I actually like the stock bumper (minus the end caps) with a winch and factory fogs

Painted or raw aluminum?

Painted or raw aluminum?

Has to be painted. There's nothing I can't stand (cosmetically) more than unpainted aluminum on a Jeep. It just looks half assed and lazy to me.

My opinion of course, but I just think once you powder coat it, it looks so much better.

For me it depends on the build. But I won’t argue preference. My under armor is all raw - whenever I finish the engine issues I’ll consider the bumper and then decide how to finish them.

I should restate what I said. Under armor doesn't need to be painted in my book. I'd just leave it raw aluminum personally.

It's the bumpers, fenders, and tube armor that I like to see painted. Whatever is underneath, I could care less about (y)
