How do you guys feel about chrome grills?

I liked the one on my last Jeep. I’m thinking of putting one on the LJ

I cringe every time I see a chrome grill or bumper on a TJ. I don’t even like the chrome headlight surrounds. But each to his own.

Same, I’m not a fan of chrome unless it’s an old school muscle car etc.

Totally IMO

I have a white TJ and the painted grill currently looks horrible. Lots of paint chips like it had been kind of sandblasted. I have black tube fenders. I might replace the grill, or get it repainted, one day. Might have to test out a black grill in photoshop.

I like a black grill on a light colored Jeep, especially matching the top and fender flares.

I think that CJ chrome grills look good. I had one on my CJ-7. I don't care for them on TJ's and LJ's, unless they have swapped to a CJ grill of course. ;)
 
Yes , if it's only the grill ...I liked them a lot on CJs years back . But I don't feel as strong now as I did then. Tastes change.

Matte black is great.

I'm a little more into the way the bumpers look now that I am about grills.
