LUK is the OEM clutch and the preferred replacement brand. Accept no substitutes.
Do not fall victim to the performance clutch bullshit, which is not necessary unless you track race your TJ.
I have no experience with Sachs products, but the National that generally comes with the LUK kits should be avoided if possible. I have had experience with the Timken TOB that performs well and has great longevity.
Not sure what year TJ the OP has, but the Timken TOBs are available on Amazon for my 2001.

I've only used LuK in any of my Jeeps and have NEVER had ANY issues.

From what I got from a clutch manufacturer, was that either can fail. If the metal one fails it hangs up and does more internal damage. No data saying which failed more. I'll look for the email I have with their results. To me personally. the factory clutch should last 200,000 miles IF you know how to use it. I know people who keep their left foot on the pedal all the time and the clutch seems to last under 60,000 miles. I've never personally burned up a clutch, just bought Jeeps from people who needed an auto. My current Jeep had the clutch replaced at around 110,000 miles. I had to replace the master/slave cylinder soon after I bought it. They didn't think that was needed. It was stalling at stop lights with the clutch pedal depressed. My first (and only) 4 cylinder Jeep had over 200,000 miles on original everything and ran great......for a turtle racing in a mud pit.I was not commenting about the LUK clutch kits per say... ONLY the TOB...

Jerry B knows how to use a clutch correctly and his 1997 lasted until he swapped in an auto. I think he had over 180,000 miles on it. This is clutch smoke, not Cheech and Chong stuck under there. My TJ has 160k miles and the original clutch is fine. The only reason I'll be replacing mine soon is the pilot bearing is making noise. From the TJ clutch reviews I read this seems to be common that the pilot or throw-out bearing fails or makes noise before the clutch itself actually wears out.
It's not. Your 05 has the NSG370 transmission, the 01 was a NV3550, totally different partsI have a 2005. it should be the same as a 2001.
