In my never ending search to accomplish, uh, pretty much nothing, I have purchased another oddball TJ Rubicon that has a fully bed lined exterior, mechanically near perfect, and drives and runs out beautifully at 72,500 miles.

It is mostly stock and has a brand new Warn 8000 lb winch on the front so it has some rake...would a 1.5" spacer lift in the front and 1" in rear do any harm , just to improve the stance .

It has 16" Deegan wheels and near new tires, and I'm not planning on changing them unless a good trade shows up, and the 16's fill the wheel wells a good bit.

Thanks, I know you guys will have some good feedback. I'm doing this one on a budget, plus I'm not about to mess up how it drives.

You and I both know all of the above is nothing but a good story until pics are posted

Does anybody have any opinions on spring lift to level this out

Moog CC782 springs gave me just about 1" over stock height and my Jeep is heavy at just under 4200. About 2" higher than the loaded stock springs. Might do that and then use spacers in the rear to level it. The springs are about $75 for the pair. It's a good budget option.

Ok, I ll try to get a pic up later. Don't laugh at it.

Does anyone like @Jerry Bransford know the internal diameter of the locker air line that is inside the rear differential.

I've got one that's off but I want to be prepared to replace it when I open it up.

Thanks
Andy G

It’s 6mm which is .236 inches. 1/4 inch will work. 6mm would be best.

Ok, hold the wisecracks, it’s paid for.

The file on my droid was so large it made it a 4 door, but it was 3.8.

This has been a cheap way to burn some stress, learn more and have an extra TJ.

Right now it’s not for sale, going to level it up, maybe Bartacts and a dead pedal.

I say it looks amazing for a 9k rubicon. Any surprises on the frame or tub?

Immaculate. I'm pretty sure it has never seen mud either, or had the hard top off it had .

It was hit in the right rear , so it got a new axle and wheel bearing and hood, right fender.

Has slotted rotors , Banks cat back ..it was a stock low mileage survivor and some one was building it when it got hit.

It needs so little done to it it's really not a project.

Sounds like you got a great deal. Congratulations.
