Long story short. I new a few weeks ago i needed to change my radiator. Well, I talked myself out of ordering one, and buying more guns and ammo. So, today, just as I pulled into my driveway, the radiator let loose. Live and learn. Lol.
Can you share your advice on what radiator I should order.

Mopar 55037652AA
Rock Auto has it for $180.79. Your local dealership(s) will likely have it for more, but with potentially quicker availability.

The general consensus is to get the Mopar radiator and not an aftermarket unit unless you want to change it again in a year or two. I'm sure some folks have had good luck with their aftermarket ones, but I didn't feel like risking it when mine went 2 years ago. Also take note that when I got mine, the screw/bolt holes were not tapped, so use the original screws to create threads in the holes while it is still out of the vehicle.

Agreed. I changed out my radiator a couple of years ago and that's the one I bought.

Resist the temptation to use this as an opportunity to improve something since the stock cooling system does just fine and there's no sense in trying to improve it.

Look on the bright side, after you put a new radiator in you can shoot the hell out of the old one with your new guns and ammo!

You’re looking at this all wrong had you bought the radiator first you would have a new radiator, your method gets you guns, ammo and a radiator, well done.

X3 on the advice to go strictly Mopar for the replacement radiator. Avoid store brands or bright and shiny all aluminum 3 row radiators that, seriously, won't cool nearly as well.

Changing the radiator is a rite of passage for all real Jeep owners. If your other cooling system components are the same age, don't be afraid to replace them all for one shot one kil. If your radiator semi holds water, use it to flush the block thoroughly before installation of the new one. I like Thermocure as a rust flushing product. As my Jeep is more a hobby than it is an appliance, I don't mind overkill on maintenance. Waiting for components to fail before maintenance/replacement is poor planning, but I digress. Buying guns is actually a better investment, they will never go down in value.
