Well, feel like I hit the lottery. Picked up this '04 Rubicon LOADED with only 10,200 miles on it. It's like a time machine - still smells new inside. Picked it up from second owner who was friends with the original owner. Compliments my daughter's '03 and my '18 JLU perfectly. Glad I found this forum, as I am pretty active on the jlwranglerforum and it has been a huge resource.

Still has factory inspection crayon marks on the frame! I did repaint surface rust on the frame side-members midspan after cleaning up with wirewheel/flapper disk. INSIDE of the frame is pristine. No rust/scale whatsoever. Biggest place there was rust was the TC skid to frame. Dropped it, cleaned up bottom of frame and top of skid and painted up with rustoleum.

10k miles on that thing? Holy moly! Looks like it rolled off the showroom floor!

I got 10770 on it now. 325 mile drive home and a couple of trips to work now. Funny thing, I bought this to potentially replace my '18 JLU as a daily driver but now I want to preserve it. I gotta keep the mindframe that it is meant to be driven and enjoyed!! That said, it will not get abused.

I'd struggle with that mentality as well! That thing is so clean it makes you not want to drive it :ROFLMAO:

Updated the front end a bit. Kentrol headlight bezels - NICE - they are actually powder coated STAINLESS vs. cheap plastic. Also got a MOPAR oem soft top only replacement, not including windows to replace the damaged original. Turned over 11000 miles. 3/4" leveling spacers on top of front springs to get rid of the rake. Also 1.25" seat risers as I've done on 3 other TJ's.

Very Nice!
I thought my 04 Rubi had low miles at 25k but picking one up with under 11k is very rare, especially as a third owner!

Congrats!

What are the plans for that front bumper? I personally dislike it, but maybe it's your thing? I'm thinking it would look better with something more subtle, but that's just me (y)

Yeah, at first didn't like it at all. Now, just kinda forgot about it. May take the hoop portion off and leave push bar, or even take whole thing off!
