Front End Noises

I found a thread where @Sudo noticed that his Savvy motor mount lift block was contacting one of the bolts that goes into the engine block. Sure enough, mine is also contacting the bolt on the passenger side.

I’m going to take the lift block out and cut the corner off. Here’s hoping that’s my noise. Even if it’s not, it can’t be good having those parts rubbing.
I did the same (cut off the corner). It definitely made noise going down even a not so great paved road.

So you're saying there's hope? ;)

Was it a clunking, kind of a dull rattle sound? I can get it to happen reliably on potholes and washboard. Doesn't happen at lower speeds at all.

do those of you with odd tick, noises on bumps have center caps in your wheels? Sometimes if I hit mine on a trail it will get loose and I can wiggle it back and forth. It makes noises when I hit bumps. I've had to pull them a few times and bend the inner lip so it sits tight.

Also in the original photos from the OP, your passenger side ball joints have a big gap that the driver side doesn't have. Is this the case in real life? Or am I just seeing things?
I'd have to go look at it to be honest, I've been too busy to bother with it so it's pretty much been sitting in my garage besides the odd run into town so I haven't noticed it as much. I've got all new steering, Trans mount, and u joints but my next step is track bar. Guy at the alignment shop noticed some play in it and we're wondering if there's noise from that, but if that's not it I'm getting ball joints and new hubs on either side and calling it done after that lol

I replaced front control arms, ball joints, sway bar bushings, track bar, and did the ZJ steering upgrade to get rid of wobble.
Still was getting a clunk on certain bumps.
It was the hood prop rod...

Mine looks to be held in well, it's still kinda hard to get in and out of the clip sometimes. I really think the noise is coming from underneath somewhere

Mine was held in firmly as well. It was making noise where the hardened rubber handle was. A piece of foam and duct tape made it silent.

Can't find any noises there, but there is a gap between the ball joint and knuckle on the passenger side. I'd imagine it's just the boot being slid up but if it's been that way for a while it may have screwed up the ball joint. I'll get some pictures posted of it again.

Sorry for the late reply I haven't had the Jeep with me. There is a gap between the knuckle and ball joint on the passenger side. I think that's just the boot, but if it's been that way for a while I'm wondering if the ball joint is bad. What's your opinion on that? I have pictures I'll put in here. After seeing it on my computer screen it looks like there's not a boot there...
