Bent tie rod

The best way is to take it off and put it on a hydraulic press. But you can often get close with some straps, as long as you take care not to over stress the joints. (Personally I would simply outright replace it for the peace of mind, or at a minimum use a press.)

Alternatively, upgrade to the ZJ steering (bigger tie rod) or Currie Currectlync / Savvy Ultimate Steering (much stronger tie rod).

You can straighten the tie rod, but the steering will need to be adjusted to get toe in correct and the tie rod will more than likely rebend easier the next time it is stressed. As others have said; replace the tie rod with a V8 ZJ or Currie Correctlynk depending upon what you budget allows.

Once bent it has been weakened. Toss it and use a stronger one this time. Keep it as a spare if you get it straight-ish.

It is not stock. 1.25" diameter, .250 wall dom.
Was it Rusty's ? Their adjustable track bar failed on me once. I upgraded it.
