I maybe just being a little extra cautious, but pulling into the garage tonite after making a test run after doing a fine adjustment on my rear pinion angle, there was a noise like some bushing was not completely smooth coming from the OPDA, not the engine. Using a long screwdriver with a Bottomless 1 gallon jug slipped over the screwdriver handle as a stethoscope everything on the engine sounds pretty much the same except when I put it on the OPDA, it was louder, not angry birds or laughing monkeys loud but louder and different than I expected. This OPDA is 2 years old from Crown I replaced it out of caution. I’ve already ordered a replacement from quadratech, but I’m not sure if this is normal and just the gear noise and sound traveling up through the shaft from the cam, am I just being paranoid?
first sound from the top of the valve cover, then top of the OPDA
