Any 3rd Gen F-body Fans in Here?

Now you need to get her hair done like the 80's and have a night on the town! That is one sweet car, nice find! It's so cool to see how fast technology has evolved since this care was new, and how "cool" this tech was back in the day.

She's already saying she's going to buy a crimper and do her hair up all 80s style and then go cruising! LOL

Just for the record, my wife was a big time hottie (still is) back in the day. Here's her late 80s/early 90s hair!

Ah memories. I had a black / silver Z-28 in high school. Believe it was a 1985 with 305 carbureted. Was a t top car and I drove like the Duke boys. Also has a white 1989 Trans Am GTA with a tuned port 350, also t top car. I miss that one. It was cherry when I bought it. Would still like to find a clean GTA convertible, just no room to keep it in the current house.

Man, I would have so many cars if I had the room! I feel your pain.

My mom had a ‘91 Firebird with the WS6 suspension package.

It was such an awesome car. I drove to my prom in it. I’m shocked she let me take it.

😂

I am a big second gen fan but I’d take a 3rd gen in a heartbeat. They were very ahead of their time in terms of aerodynamics as well. Besting even today’s cars.

When we put it in the garage, I was surprised just how long the car was, and I know they did that to improve aerodynamics. The gen3s are down are power, but had a lot of engineering behind them for sure. The cool thing is, a 383 stroker is pretty much a direct bolt-in.

Detroit had the aerodynamics thing figured out in the 60's, but forgot about it until the 80's. Try putting one of these in your garage. Almost 19' long and ran 200 MPH in 1969. Those were both machines and men of steel! ;)

Absolutely, and with just a lap belt to boot! I'd have as much getting that into my garage as my RAM. Gorgeous car though!
