03-06 center dash bezel in a 97-02

Does anyone know if a center dash bezel from an 03-06 tj will fit in a 99 tj? I tried to repaint mine due to fading and really messed it up, so now I'm looking for replacement options. I really like the more rounded cutouts of the newer model bezels, but the switch panel and ash tray area is different. What options are there for these?

You would have to delete the ashtray assembly and swap to the later switch assembly, the hvac panel has to be moved out about a 1/4" with bushings and the 2 lower friction clips have no attachment but 2 new screws can be hidden at the very bottom.

I have an 03-06 bezel for sale if you’re interested. In like new condition already packed up for shipment

Thank you so much. How exactly would you go about extending the hvac panel? also is it possible to wire the second 12v outlet, as the 97-02 only has one?

Remove panel screws and add a 1/4" bushing and replace with longer screws which moves the panel out.

Davey's Jeeps usually has all the pieces.
