They can crack! I had no idea. Reasons:

- Unseasonably cold weather (9 degrees)
- 16 year old plastic

My fault. I like to keep the back window unzipped at the side so I can flip it over the soft top when I’m loading groceries. Because of the cold weather the window didn’t stay on the soft top and kept sliding off. I got pissed off and tried to bend the back window in on itself to give me more room and BAM!
Don’t be an idiot like me. Now I need a new window!

Yep, eventually plastic will do that over time and various heat cycles. 16 years is a good amount of time to get out of a soft top though.

Usually happens when someone slaps snow and ice off the inside. You were due.

Did Mopar ever sell the windows by themself? I have a line on an OEM top, but it doesn't have any of the windows. If they end up being too expensive, then it isn't really a good buy.

Bestop does and they make the factory soft tops. Just one rear window labeled Mopar goes for almost $300.
