Bought some factory half doors for 100 bucks and I went to put them but when I tried to close it the door would not latch properly. Noticed it’s off by about half an inch possibly. Was I duped? Can I just drill new holes?? Or am I missing something

Here’s the door
Thinking it through a bit more maybe I can add some rubber washer type thing to hold the door up higher but here’s how it sits

Alright so I actually tightened it while it was closed and latched.
Kind of better but still off it closes now when I slam it and it rises up to latch

Slightly loosen the bolts on the door side of the hinge and close & latch the door. Use a tapered wedge shaped tool wrapped with protective tape to move the door around until it's centered. Tighten the bolts and you're done.

You can also adjust the striker on the body. I had to do this when I switched to the half doors.
Then it's no longer aligned to fit the other door. Align just the new half door's position in its half of the hinge and then it will fit and the older door will still fit.

so I was able to get it done correctly and it's all fine and dandy minus the passenger side hinge bolt looks like it's broken so i'll replace the hinge. Not sure if just the bolt is changeable and if so I couldn't find much of anything on a repair for it.

I'm also experiencing an issue with the driver's side where the door doesn't seem to seat completely and i'm able to move it back and forth after it's closed. Doesn't rattle or move when driving but I can forcefully move it back and forth. I might take these apart and paint them refresh any hardware that's missing. all in all i'm pretty happy for 100 bucks.

You got a steak for $100. I paid $350 which was a great deal for doors and uppers. Thankfully mine aligned perfectly, because the hung bolts wouldn’t budge. Mine are summer/trail doors so I didn’t need perfection. I saw a guy on Facebook yesterday that is selling full and half doors in NJ. He had at least 30 of each from the photos. Of course he had a bright metallic silver...

Those hinges don't look like they're in all the way. Looks like it needs some lube and a mallet to pound those in a bit.

Mine:
