I need to remove the bar pins from a new pair of Fox shocks without damaging the rubber bushings. Anyone have experience with the Foxs and some useful tips and tricks? It looks like the pins are pretty beefy and their configuration might make them very difficult to extract.

Thanks. Is it necessary to cut the shoulder off the pin first? The way they are configured it would peridot result in some minor damage to the rubber bushing.
Press the bar pin to one side enough to expose the smooth shank, then cut off the one end.
If you are pressing in a new sleeve, now would be a good time to use it to press the cut off bar pin out and the sleeve in.
Should be able to find them from your local hardware store. I believe they are 1/2" ID X 1.5" long.
