Were these factory wheels an option on TJs?

Hey everyone,

I'm going to add another set of TJ rims to the list. These came stock on my 2001 and are on my build sheet as:

16X7.0 Alum "Icon" Silver Wheels

From some searching, they're more likely found on XJ's - maybe as I'm in Australia this was an option down here?

And I believe they are:

5.25" backspacing
+31.75 offset

And I saw someone mention factory tires, mine were:

P225/70R16 BSW All Terrain Tires

:)

Is it a Renegade?

When I got my XJ, these initially caught my eye, but then I found out they were 16s. I do like the look though.

Yup. Those are what I have (2001 60th anniversary edition)
The 65th anniversary got 15 inch silver graphite alloy ecco,s in Australia? totally different wheels to the USA 65th, Canyons. Its all about import licensing and regulations the 225/70/16 on the OP,s is the same size as the 225/75/15 that came on the later export models and I think they are all 7" rims, the US 60th and 65th may have come with 8" rims?
They seem to be all over the place with exports but I presume its all about making sure passenger vehicles do not get commercial vehicle wheels and tires for import licensing purposes and to comply with European safety regulations?

2000-01 XJ wheels here in the US. Rubicons here were the only TJ with crappy 16" wheels.
16" is a common commercial (pickup/ute) rim size in Australia now and tires are easy to get for 16,s but they are LT tires
13" and 15" used to be the norm but now its all over the place.
So since I have been told Rubicon's came out with metric 31,s on stock suspension I am going to get the 265/75/15, metric 31,s which will give me an inch on my 29,s I just bought :( J.E.E.P lol
