So @Dave K. has his stock suspension from his03 rubicon and he said he would consider letting me have it. There's currently a 3 inch body lift with some generic shocks that came with it when I bought my 00 sport. Is the rubicon stock suspension taller than stock sport or won't it work with my 32 inch tires?

The springs are the exact same height but the Rubicon IIRC has a stiffer spring rate. The Rubicon suspension is not taller than the sport. I believe putting a stiffer spring might be a waste of time for you as it may only yeild 1/2inch to 3/4 inch in lift.

The larger tire is what makes the Rubicon taller than the Sport.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

It won't clear 32s alone, I belive rubicon's came with 30x9.5r16s which is the 'max' tire that will clear, although many have had no issues with 31s and no lift.

I'd also really suggest removing the 3 inch body lift and doing like a 1.25 max body lift for safety reasons.

I may be wrong but I belive the rubicon's had the same springs but they were stiffer.

Yes, I would do the 1.5 body lift if the rubicon suspension would have worked. Thanks for the feedback:)

You could do a 1.25 body lift, and a 2-2.5 inch spacer lift. Ill be finishing mine up Monday, and it was cheap. I got the set of 4 spacers for under $100 bucks, a 1.25 body lift for $100, and a 1 inch motor mount lift for like $90 maybe.

I don't think it really would be worth it buying some used rubicon coils.

So I'm confused. What's the difference between a spacer lift and a body lift? I'm not sure what I have now?

A spacer lift is a lift that is gained through the suspension..kind of. It is a puck (think hockey puck) that goes between the top of the coil and the coil bucket.

A body lift is gained by placing a puck between body and the frame's body mount.

Here is what I was told by the previous owner was put on my jeep.

Spring spacer lift.
Glad it's a spacer lift not a body lift especially at 3 inches! At some point you could consider some rough country 2.5 coil springs. That would be good for 32s, and $200 for the 4 springs. Not as nice as some of the brands but you'd get better articulation which may or may not matter depending on your needs, and it would be a better use of money than some used rubicon springs.

You can run 31s on a stick suspension that's what I have. View attachment 21134

Seems like it's hit or miss some people have no issues, some do on 31s I had rubbing issues with 31s and ended up going with 30s and regret it. But @Kathy is running 32s and I don't think the rubicon coils will make the cut, unless she's not planning on disconnecting the front anti sway bar then it might work, but it will probably rub when turning. But I'm no expert.

Unless you think your current spring are sagging, the Rubi springs won't net you any height gain. Are your tires rubbing now with your current setup?
