I have what I believe is an older Rancho 4” lift on my 2005 lj with BFG KO2’s. This is a pic of rear shock which I think is a 5000 series. I think upper control arms are original.
I like the way it rides but am thinking it could be a little less “jittery”. Tires are at 28psi and would probably ride better at 24psi. I should have a Swayloc installed by the end of next week.
Will Rancho 5000x shocks lessen the little jolts? How about new control arms( with new more compliant bushings)? Any other minor adjustments that could soften the ride?
Minor steering wheel shake at 50-60mph that I’m hoping can be eliminated with proper wheel balancing
This is the wife’s daily driver that I would like to prep for grade 5(medium?) trails here in AZ.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

Shocks are 90 percent or more of ride quality, so find a shock that rides like you want, bushings would be more towards flex agility and steering quality. Tim
