ALWAYS: Love hearing from the experts on here. 2005 TJ Fender flare question ?

Mine are faded & it's time to get some new ones. I want to keep the same stock design / size. Which brand / company do you recommend & why ? Go O.E.M ? Easy on / off ? Thanks for your input in advance, as always most appreciated !

I replaced my faded oems with OMIX 11603.11 aftermarket oem look replacements in February of last year and they have already faded close to what the originals looked like when I removed them to replace with the OMIX brand.

additionally the OMIX flares are a softer plastic and are nicked and dinged like crazy from rocks flinging off the front tires.

wouldn't recommend OMIX brand.

We used OMIX, which is another name for Rugged Ridge. They were about $130 from Amazon (looks like the price has jumped to $143). They came with new stainless steel hardware. The fit and finish were perfect. We stayed away from the slightly cheaper Crown due to a number of negative reviews. If I were replacing another set, I would go with OMIX.

Replacing just for fading?
There are restore products like 'back to black', heat gun works, or repaint.
If you're going to repaint, you might try to find a set of used Rubicon/Sahara flares that are wider.

Take some scotchbrite, simple green, and water and scrub/scuff the crap out of them (while wet) spray with simple green again, scrub a little more, and then thoroughly rinse. Then spray a light coat of bull dog adhesion promoter, then finally finish them off with Sem ultra trim matte black. They will look outstanding and if you follow those steps you won’t get early paint failure. Here’s some after and before pictures of mine.

I’ve been through this discussion before. I think some of the paint jobs look great. Others peel soon. Prep is everything and I commend the fine skills of some. However, for me it’s just not worth it. Paint will never fix any brittleness of the plastic. Prep and paint materials cost about $80 last time I added it up. Heat gun returns to black temporarily. Not sure what a Magic Eraser might do. If you want a project, go for it. Otherwise I think just buy new. My .02c and kudos to those who DIY.

If it's just fading, any oil based cleaner or wd-40 will make them pop again
That's a great temporary fix, but there are millions of these options !!! Some last a few days, some a week and if your lucky others a month. That's NOT what i'm looking for. I'm looking for "NEW" stock, O.E.M or equivilent options & feedback on companies & brands. THANKS !

YES, replacing just for fading, back to black is good for about a week if your lucky, same with heat gun, and other creams & solutions. They are just a waste of money & i'm not killing my one day a week i have off to prep tape & paint &, or waste $75 on materials vs buying new. I'm NOT looking for "USED" wider either, but thanks for your input.

This is good advice! Most don't think about the fact that it's very easy to start scratching up painted flares. They can be kept looking good, but it takes work. You'll be better off just replacing them.

Hence why I'm looking for suggestions for NEW flares companies / brands & feedback etc, as stated in my 1st post.

Krylon Fusion paint or buy new ones for under $120. My painted ones stayed like new for years. No prep, other than wiping them with rubbing alcohol. No need to remove them either.
p.s. Guaranteed not to peel or you get your $5 back.

I wonder if there is a difference between 11603.01 and 11603.11

Some of this has to do with whether you park inside or outside, how may sunny days you have every year, amount of heat, and perhaps other factors.
