Please Learn From My Lack of Proper Insurance Coverage (Please Read)

Exactly. My whole reason behind it was the simple fact that if my LJ would get totaled, regular insurance would screw me. At most I would get $20K for it if I was lucky. When in reality a rust free, sub 50K mile LJR sells in the ballpark of $25 - $35K now days.

Please Learn From My Lack of Proper Insurance Coverage (Please Read)

I would say that most if not all insurance isn’t going to cover off-road damage. As far as mods go, I think what they are saying is they won’t insure a heavily modified vehicle that is for off-road use. I’ve already seen others get denied from hagerty when they say they will be used for...

Who in here likes to hunt?

Thanks! He should score between 130-140". For the county I hunt in, he should be the 3rd or 4th largest buck in the archery category for the PA record book. Gotta wait 60 days to get him officially scored.

Toyota lights on your TJ! Cheap, quality LED alternative

So I have about a month of seat time with these headlights now and a little less since I installed the Hella 80/100 bulbs. Low beams are nothing special, but they do have a nice crisp cutoff and I like them. High beams are another story. I don't think I've ever been able to see so good before...

The great resignation—where is the hired help?

Their answer to everything in here is work more hours. I have coworkers that work till 8 in the evening and come in on Saturdays and are full on dedicated to the company. That's what they expect out of everyone. And yeah those guys will get higher salary increases over the years, but they are...

The great resignation—where is the hired help?

Yeah, sadly most of the position's I am looking for pay almost nothing, but they would be in the area we want to live and would be more in line with my interests. Trying to get into the conservation / forestry field and I would be leaving the construction estimator field. Out of college I took...

The great resignation—where is the hired help?

I literally just had an interview for a position this past Monday that would have been a $30K pay cut and this is after I already took a $30K pay cut 3 years ago for where I am now. Sadly the position was offered to the other candidate. For my wife and I it's about what is going to give us more...

The great resignation—where is the hired help?

Stagnant wages are a big part of this issue I think. Most people wont go back to work because even if they do, they can't afford most anything. Meanwhile if they stay home the gov will give them everything for free. Why go back? That's my take on it. $20/hr won't even allow you to buy a house...
