What is the correct part number for a SKIM key?

WOW… The PNs version is up to AD. When I had additional keys programmed by my dealership tech friend; the PNs were moving to AC because the AB PNs had chip problems.

Headlight relayed harness for only $9.90 shipped

That answer not only doesn’t answer your question, but is not even related to what you asked. That’s the kind of answer you would expect from Kamala.

    Disk brake conversion kits

I didn’t have a low pedal nor did I need to replace the master cylinder. Just ensure you perform a good flush of the brake fluid thru the system, ensure the caliper brake bleeders are at the top and do a good job of bleeding the system.

Headlight relayed harness for only $9.90 shipped

Take a closer look at those relays; I am doubtful they can handle more than 10A. For the money; I will stay with the relay harness that came with the TOYOTA Koito headlights. “Buyer be Ware “

Headlight relayed harness for only $9.90 shipped

After reading the description on EBay for that harness; no where does it state what the gauge of the wiring or the rating of the relays. The only information provided is that the harness is rated for 80A; which I highly doubt. For the harness to be rated for 80A; that would require 4 gauge...

    Disk brake conversion kits

If I understand your question correctly; you are asking where the brake hoses bolt. They bolt to the factory control arms; the same as the factory hoses and the BMB conversion hoses. I installed the BMB disc brake conversion kit 3.5 years and and the brake hose installations were easy; just make...

    Best stock look headlight upgrade?

I am running the Koito housings, 100/130 bulbs and the harness for approximately 3 years and their performance have been great for what I spent. No plans to spend the $400+ on the Holley housings and bulbs. Just inquiring.

    Best stock look headlight upgrade?

Could you install the Holley LED bulbs in the Koito housings ? Would that be an economical work around ? The Holley housings are probably designed for LED use.

No fuel when engine is hot: Fuel pump, ASD, PCM, sensors, heat?

There are several items that can cause this problem when the engine/compartment are hot. The engine/compartment heat creates electrical resistance in wiring which can cause voltage going thru the relay magnet to decrease and the contacts to drop out. When the relay contacts open due to and...

    Vibes

I understand you are looking for the contact point of the vibrations, but how about where are the vibrations starting. You probably want to check the condition of the harmonic balancer to either confirm or rule out this as a source. Do you notice a slight movement of the balancer on the hub and...

    Windshield Wiper Troubleshooting

I would suggest you disassemble the steering columm, disconnect the wiring harness, remove the MFS for wiper operations, spray some DeoxIT D5 electrical contact cleaner (available on Amazon), cycle the wiper operating arm multiple times and allow the contact cleaner to evaporate (1-2 minutes)...

    What is a TJ?

The TJ (96.5-06) is what Jeep identified that generation of Jeep; which is occurred before the JK ('07 - 18) and after the YJ (86-95). T

Clicking / rattling noise coming from front driver side

Chock two tires and Jack up the Jeep, spin the front tire listening for noises. Remove the drivers side front tire, inspect the brake caliper, brake pads and ensure the caliper bolts are tight. When checking the bolts for tightness; do not crank down on the bolts or you will snap them off or...

What did you do to your TJ today?

With Hurricane Milton arriving tomorrow afternoon I topped off the fuel tank and parked my Jeep in the garage to protect it from flying debris. Yesterday I made sure I have enough food and water for a several days and the generator has enough fuel just in case.... Contacted my son in Port...

How does my driveshaft angle look

In the picture it appears you still have the stock UCAs; with 4" of lift I would expect you to already have adjustable control arms. Adjustable UCAs can usually assist in correcting pinion to driveshaft angles to 0* when installing a SYE and DC driveshaft.

    Soon to be obsolete

Do a search and you will find several posts on the spare parts topic. Shortly after I purchased my '01 in 2020 I started a spare parts cabinet for the hard to locate parts. While aftermarket parts may fit; they seldom equal the quality of the Mopar parts. I have purchased quite a few spare...

    Crank pulley shenanigans

Mac, Glad to see you used a Bottoming Tap to chase the threads and recover several threads at the bottom of the crank snout. Congrats on getting the threads repaired and the harmonic balancer hub fully seated.

    Crank pulley shenanigans

Even after advising a lawyer (too smart) against using the hub bolt; I watched him try to press the harmonic balancer onto the crank snout using the bolt. He stripped the bolt and buggered up the internal threads. The guy was mad at me when I said, "I told you not to do that" !!!! Several years...
