Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Here is my axle location I hope that helps. Curiously, looking at my trackbar picture, it almost looks like I already have the double element bushing. I'll have to compare closer when I get my new bushing.

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Thank you for the update. I have the k3147 on order for the front. I'll see if I can add additional confirmation for the rear. If the bolt holes are the same and everything looks good like your finding, I'll order a set for the rear bar. I'll try to get back to everyone with my results. I...

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

So the rear also uses the k3147?

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

I'm looking forward to hearing what the OEM rear bushings are. Then I can change those out to right away too. Thanks.

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

To stop the bar from flopping. I'm not saying that a JJ would be better than a bushing on the axle end. I'm just answering the question of how you could use a modified JJ on the axle end and still keep the bar from flopping. Whether or not that actually serves a real purpose can be debated by...

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Couldn't that easily be solved by simply using a washer and bushing with a smaller ID hole to restrict the movement of the ball?

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Awesome, I learned something. Thank you. Its hard to see in that picture. But this is the picture I was looking at when I searched the Moog k3147 number Mr Blaine gave me. I thought in this image it looked like 2 different layers of rubber. Is this an accurate representation of the Currie...

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

OK, looking at some pictures of the different bushings, I think I see what you are saying. I never realized there was such a thing as single element or double element bushing. But if I understand you correctly and if I am seeing things correctly in the pictures. My bushing is just one piece...

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Kind of hard to know what the bar I received came with isn't it? Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Too funny. I guess that was kind of a stupid question on my part. Do you know if this is any different in how firm it is than what might have come in that bar to begin with?

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

Thank you. I'll do that. Is that a direct fit? Would that be any different than what the Moog bar originally came with?

Single rubber bushing. Is that what you meant by element? THIS ONE: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000C5403G/?tag=wranglerorg-20

Beautiful. That might be the same Jeep I drooled over before. I need those seats in my Rubihara.

Front track bar: Currie or JKS?

I'll join in on this conversation because I am needing to make some changes in my current track bar as well. So I will add my limited knowledge and experience as well as my questions. First my setup and observations: I have a 3" lift with 2" bumpstops. I am currently running a Moog trackbar...

Cross Jeep TJ / LJ Official Build Thread

I think I saw pictures of that Jeep for sale online a couple years ago. Does it have the tan leather interior? Beautiful looking Jeep. These AEV TJ/LJ are always an inspiration to me.

Mixing progressive shocks front with digressive rear

That is a fair question, if not rhetorical. I guess the reason that I ask is because, although I believe I am quite sensitive to what my Jeep is doing, I do not want to rely entirely on my own perceptions if there is the possibility of an underlying problem that I am not aware of. Particularly...

Mixing progressive shocks front with digressive rear

So just how crazy am I for running a progressive Rancho shock up front and a digressive Bilstein in the rear? Years ago, I installed my lift with Rancho 9000XL adjustable shocks on both ends. I liked the Ranchos well enough in the front, but the Ranchos could never seem to control the rebound...

Oh look, another tire recommendation thread

I have Falken Rubitreks on my Pathfinder. Great tire for an AT. The BFG MT on my Jeep has worn very quickly. I will likely go AT next time. Toyo is probably a bigger company than Falken. Toyo and Nitto are the same company. They have a reputation for good tires but they are often heavy.

    JKS JSPEC suspension kit

I have boots over the shocks in the front so they were a little difficult to measure. But it looks like I have about 4.75" of shaft showing. The Rancho 9000xl has a stroke of 8.5". I think I have a little extra bumpstop that will leave about 3/4" of shaft showing. So that leaves 4" uptravel...
