Maybe a dummy question but I'm not wrapping my head around this one.. under thinking I guess. Does gear ratio (5.13) have any influence on which manual gear should be selected for flat tow? I read a horror story about the OEM transfer case linkage allowing it to shift into LR while flat towing...

The drone/oscillation happened to me after regearing from 4.10 to 5.13. There's a thread or 2 on the oscillation problem with tons of detail. I was odd man out and mine was cured with a driveshaft balance (aftermarket) locally.

I have Wouxun HT loaners as well.

This chart was from 2022. Wondering which channel(s) and DCS code you folks want for June? Assuming there will be radios. We're running GMRS. I doubt we need more than one channel for 8 rigs. 16/D223? I might change up if we do separate runs however. I'd like to get ours programmed to match...

The LJR on a trailer or flat towing behind my 5er. Guess I left that open.. 😆

Verified existing 4pin flat-tow taillight wiring. Will plug that in when trailering also for maximum visibility. Overkill!

Gonna be too hot for my wife with COPD - heat kicks her butt, and combined with trying to corral feisty twins on long days would be triple tough - so it'll be me and 2 buddies. One of them is out on the 12th and the other on the 14th so I might bail a day early so we can caravan home together on...

Found out my buddy's bringing his JLUR and leaving the LJR at home. Dunno? We'll still have a TJR and a TJUR.., both manual.

Welcome. My eldest daughter lives in the Bitterroot. I'm hoping to get the LJR to Montana one year. We hang in the Big Hole, around Georgetown, and Wade/Cliff/Elk lakes. Lotsa country to see. BTW I'm a Montana native and it's still home.
