You're on the right track here. Keep in mind the needs vs. wants. It's a never ending struggle for those of us on a budget.

If your existing arms are in good shape (bushings intact) and you're happy with the street manners, then stick with what you have. The stock arms are up to the task of light to moderate wheeling. Do your homework before you buy arms. If the ones you really want don't currently fit the budget...

I've been running the subject tire for 3 years. I've been very happy with them.

Tires was my first instinct as well. Aging tires will start to do funky things on the road. Any idea how old they are?

Hey Mike, are you swapping to the 42RLE mostly for the rock crawling benefits? Sorry if I missed your explanation from earlier. I never really stopped to think about all the small details that are different between the manual and auto Jeeps. That project is more extensive than I realized.

Yes, I had it repaired at a local radiator shop last week. I've been planning this project since last November so, at one point in time, I was planning on buying something new. Thanks again for the suggestion on having mine repaired!

Their estimated lead time is what kept me shopping. I realize everything is made/ order, but 18-20 week lead time... seriously?! No thanks.
