Nope. All the boots are the same, I'm referring to the TRE itself. The outer draglink end is not attached to the drag link via threads as the other 3 TRE's are. The tapered stud is pressed into the drag link itself and cannot be removed easily like the other 3 that are threaded. Same design...

Help me understand the Super 35 kit

I'm sure there's a CrossFit workout that could implement something like that?

The rubber boots are easy to remove after you remove the spring clip that holds them in place. I wouldn't recommend powder coating the tie rod ends though. There are threads on both ends of them that you'd need to mask plus the grease inside. I'd just remove the ends completely and only...

Help me understand the Super 35 kit

I'm not sure I'd call it easy, at least the first time. ;) It's definitely do-able though for anyone who's willing to do their homework and ask questions. Patience is key.

Help me understand the Super 35 kit

Installing the S35 is just like any other carrier swap. I'd also recommend replacing the seals and bearings, plan on a full rebuild because of what you're investing in the new locker. Yes, you can re-use your current gears as long as they're in good shape. Just make sure you get the correct...

I kinda thought that was the case but didn't know for sure. Do you have any other BMB swag available?

    SYE questions

Just my opinion, that's all. I based my purchase of the JB product on the recommendation of others here. I haven't been disappointed. Seems like you have an axe to grind though?

Very cool, thanks for sharing, and thank you for your service. It's obvious you've really put in the work to create a finely-tuned trailer that functions very well. I have a '98 TJ also in the same color as yours. Love that Gun Metal Pearl!

Keep the BMB tie rod in the box with the hope of "collector item status" some day.

    SYE questions

    1. Do you have a transfer case drop right now? I wouldn't worry about raising the drivetrain for the reasons you mentioned. A 1" BL shouldn't be causing shifting issues. If it is there are other solutions. Mention about your plans to tuck later down the road when you order your new driveshaft...

Yes, correct just the Currie tie rod, not the ends. Yes, big improvement in strength. Especially when combined with the tie rod ends.

Or if you wanna save a few bucks on a "gently used" Currie tie rod Instead, hang out here for a couple weeks. I'm sensing a few of us will be looking to sell ours when the upgrades start arriving.

    Ideal All-Purpose RPM for Re-Gearing

As mentioned above, the 4.0 performs very well at that RPM. By the time you're moving that fast, there are a number of other things that make a lot more noise than the engine.

I have BDS rear springs but I don't recall there being any numbers marked on them like you show. I'll take a closer look this evening and let you know.
