Use a tape measure and find out. Measure from the fender flare to the ground and see what the difference is. My guess would be 1/2-3/4" spacer would solve your issue.

I replaced all the u-joints on both my Jeeps and never balanced, never had a vibration.

Here's what I would do ... Let the Jeep idle and get everywhere and start wiggling wire bundles until it dies out, then you know which bundle the problem is in.
