Has anyone had issues where small rust specs have started to form on the outside of the paint? My dad and I used it on our rebuild projects and I’m starting to see rust particulate form on the outside…

I did the combo of hella 500 and 500ff on my roof rack. Wired each pair to its own relay with shared hot and ground. They are very bright! I preferred the classic look, and if it gets cold the halogen bulbs will melt any ice. Also hella are a very affordable option.

I redid mine on my LJ last year, got it all back together and it’s had a slow leak (fml), haven’t gotten around to taking a second crack at it

daytime pic, definitely glad I put the green fender flares on too. Now just to find some covers for the bumper fog lights, and maybe some black rims

Finished up my roof rack hella flood/spot and oem fog light install. Not too bad, just a lot of wire routing to make it look clean! Will have to take a picture tomorrow to get the daylight POV.

Been MIA for a minute, tons of work done, completely rebuilt the yellow one (still need to update the build thread). Added on Sahara flares to my green one, will be wiring the the bumper fog lights and the roof rack lights here soon! The lineup is lookin good!

I combed through it but didn’t see anything that stuck out, but I might have missed something. If I had to guess it is probably ABS related, there were two of the same connector, one had been ripped off. Will need to dig more

Speaking of security systems, do you know if these additional pigtails would be for one that ties into the fuel system? My 99 harness has them towards the back but the other 99 harness I have doesn’t.

Was able to modify / combine existing trans mounting brackets to get the 32RH to mount to a 03 skid plate. Not sure why I assumed the skid plate mounting to the frame/ trans was the same for all TJ’s. Either way glad I got it work out!

Starting to button up the wiring. Anyone know what these extra rear connectors are for? My only guess is a security system to shut off the fuel.

Installed rancho shocks along with OME springs for the 2.5” lift. Installed the 4.0 today as well. We decided since the yellow tub is in better shape we are going to swap that on, so we pulled that off its frame earlier this week. helped my dad with a similar issue, upgraded to a banks exhaust and he wanted a hitch. You could just remove the exhaust tip, but I think longterm direct heat exposure from the exhaust to the hitch or tub will cause it to rust, it happened on my dad’s Toyota back in the day. $20 tip that looks...

Repaired a small section on the bottom of the frame. Was quoted $1600 to get caps done, but there was no reason to do that. Would have cut out metal that had more than enough life left. Should have tacked it higher so it would have been flush with the original bottom, oh well

Can confirm MORE did not have bad vibrations for me either.

Did these hold up well? Looking to replace the ones on a project jeep
