An in-line fuel pressure gauge is a good way to see if a fuel injector is leaking without pulling the rail. But that wouldn’t tell you if one is gunked up or not. I agree with your process tho, simplest way to do it with minimal diagnostic tools.

Did you figure out the cam sync at start? Also, if you have a leak down tester that can be a quick way to see if your valves on that cylinder are leaking.

I’m usually one to go after the quality parts, but the reviews only suggesting the bolts getting rusty makes me tempted haha

I didn’t buy them, found them laying around from another Jeep we have. Had to guess the brand visually since they don’t have any info on them.

Looking to put my 35” spare on, but I need upgraded hinges. Happened to find these laying around in a box that came with my dads jeep. Hinges They are cheaper in cost than the other brands suggested but they feel pretty heavy duty. Any thoughts?

When you go to adjust it loosen the plate enough so you can rotate it while the engine is running. I believe 6553.50 is -0.1 degrees. My cam sync at start is also out of sync, not sure how to get it in sync.

Consensus is there are a lot of good options. No matter what you use you at least have to get the flakes off. The level of removal after that is where it depends on what you are using.

I’ve used it on my drive shafts, it’s good stuff. Only downside is if you miss any rust it’ll come back. Thats the advantage with eastwoods, doesn’t have to be rust free and it won’t allow the rust to get worse
