I'm looking at CB radio mounts and overhead consoles that fit with a hard or soft top and keep noticing they either fit 97-02 or 03-06 TJs. What's the difference? Is the difference mod-able or swappable?

It’s my ‘04 TJ. It came with the factory hardtop when I bought it. I just bought the entire soft top setup (bestop super top nx in twill) last month after getting swindled out of a different one. It is absolutely gorgeous and I love it, but I could do without the logo.

Anyone figure out the best way to get rid of this yet? You’d think if you pay $1500 for something they’d have enough margin to advertise for themselves.

Planning to tackle the Swayloc install next. The packaging is pretty awesome, but the front of the drivers side arm looks a little off. Anyone know if this is normal?

New ball joints, hubs and u joints going in shortly. The kid has done this job pretty much by himself so far. I’m super proud.

Next up was the steering gear box to help with steering slop. Got it out and in without too much trouble, but the return hose end got cross threaded, so it got put on hold waiting for parts. Finally got it in yesterday, so it should be buttoned up soon and a new bumper will go in front of it.

Ok, I’m behind. This happened probably six weeks ago. Handling is marginally better.
