    Uninterruptible Power Supply

Honestly, just get a good 1500va ~900w tower unit. The small "power strip" style units are usually garbage. The batteries can usually be replaced, but the small form factor creates a lot more heat because they can not adequately move air over the electronics when they trip and they tend to...

    Uninterruptible Power Supply

Plug in your equipment to this calculator to find out how big of unit you need. https://tripplite.eaton.com/products/load-calculator Even if you don't go with Eaton, you can use the result to figure out the estimated VA and W you need for your equipment for your desired runtime.

SOLD Warn Dana 44 Diff skid plate

Sorry, yes Dana 30 on the front. I installed this one on the Dana 44 rear. It is for a JK, but all you have to do is cut a small bit off to make it fit the TJ. There is a picture in the reviews showing where to cut. I just took a cutoff wheel using a grinder and hit it with some black paint...

    Uninterruptible Power Supply

These Eaton units are my goto for desktops and small racks. I switched to them from APC a few years back and have no regrets. They have performed really well. Not the cheapest unit, but I have found them to be very good quality for the money. I get then from Dell just because I have a sales...

SOLD Warn Dana 44 Diff skid plate

I recently bought this one from Amazon (Rugged Ridge) , and holding it side by side with the Warn, the only noticeable difference is the cut out "W". https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013RIOI4?tag=wranglerorg-20

    Wireless Security Camera System

If you can get a cable to it, do. Wi-Fi is a last resort always.

    Wireless Security Camera System

Yep, IT for about 30 years here. I have friends and family ask me if their phone is listening to them because they see stuff in FB, Amazon and google ads they were discussing or thinking about, and my response always shocks them. It doesn't not have to. The FANG companies (and others you have...

    Wireless Security Camera System

It is only paranoia if they are not coming to get you. Pro tip......they are, but you may be surprised about who "they" are.

    Wireless Security Camera System

I used it for my office security for years, and it worked well. I really like that it is self-hosted. No monthly cost and I secure it in my network so I don't have to give big brother any more info about my life.

    Wireless Security Camera System

If you are wanting to spin up something yourself, look at a Synology NAS for video storage using their surveillance system built into the NAS, then pair with whatever camera system you prefer, or their camera. It is a pretty good system that is all self hosted. It may run to the top of your...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Last upgrade before the Jolly Jeeper's Rally next weekend. A little extra armor for when the Jeep is more capable than my driving skill.

What did you do to your TJ today?

That box is a 3D printer storage box I use for small stuff. I don't get into it very often, but I would need to remove the fire extinguisher to get to it with the top on. Without the top, I can just remove the lid. I had that mount, but I really hated having it on the roll bar, and with the...

What did you do to your TJ today?

After installing lower brackets under the driver's seat I needed to find a good place to mount the fire extinguisher since it no longer fit in front of the seat. Barctact has a new mount that looked like a good design, and was reasonably priced so I gave it a try. Very simple design, super easy...

What did you do to your TJ today?

Finally finished up the last piece (3D printing a new center console cubby) of a long process of upgrading the stereo, which like everything else in the truck has 3000 side quests: New head unit, cameras, amp, wiring, heated seats, seat skins, center console cubby that also fixed the loose lid...

What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

Well that is the end to a 6 month project. Audio upgrade and center console are done.

What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

So far I really like the AMS HT, and if you are in the Bambu ecosystem it makes sense. I do with it could run standalone though as you must have the printer powered up for it to function.

What have you 3D printed for your TJ?

I looked at that, but ended up buying the AMS HT (and an AMS 2 pro to sit beside my Gen 1 AMS), because I needed to dry higher temp filaments. Interesting play to go with a retrofit to another companie's product though.
