Replaced steering, now much stronger wheel feedback

In the picture you posted I know see the axle end bracket for the tracbar has been redrilled to center the body on the suspension. I believe that an adjustable tracbar would be a welcome addition providing better geometry with the steering tie rod.

Replaced steering, now much stronger wheel feedback

Inspect the location of the front tires in relation to the fender flares; IF one tire is more outside and one tire is more inset to the fender flare; then you are in need of an adjustable tracbar. With a 4" lift I would have expected you would already have an adjustable tracbar so as to center...

This '01 that I purchased had sagging springs with rotten bump stops and leaking shock absorbers. I didn't want to install a lift just to restore the ride height, but since I purchased the Jeep during COVID; the parts were 8 weeks back ordered. While I could have installed spacers to restore...

    Parking brake button

Years ago I had a similar problem with my 98XJ; the use of epoxy only worked for a short time due to being exposed to the heat of the local sun. I used 3/4" piece of aluminum rod to fashion into a button. I step drilled two different diameter holes inside for the rod and spring to insert then...

2000 Wrangler 4.0 no crank no start

Place meter leads on the battery studs and attempt to crank the engine; does the battery voltage drop or stay at 12V? IF the battery voltage does not drop dramatically then as others have responded check the battery cables. I would remove, inspect and thoroughly clean positive and negative cable...

    Speedo and tach issue

Interesting that flipping the hazard switch twice wakes up the Tach and Speedometer. On my 98 XJ I had a similar problem with the Speedometer and Tach losing communications and the Air Bag light coming on. I tried cleaning the Instrument Cluster contact pins and BUSS clips with scotchbrite and a...

Can someone help identify this wiring?

The 1st and 2nd pictures indicate that your Jeep had the TSB performed by a dealership which was the replacement of the Instrument Cluster BUSS connector(s) due to microscopic black specs (oxidation on connector clips).

You are correct about the switch and the fuse on the M/T. As for the A/T I believe the fuse is also installed.
