If it was me, I’d try and set OCD to the side and nutsert it and run it. Even if it’s a 1/4” off it’s not going to matter for a bumpstop pad.

I’ve had a lot of different smokers over the years and the Masterbuilt gravity is my favorite. Gives the flavor of a traditional offset with damn near the convenience of a pellet grill. I’ve about wore this one out, been loosely keeping an eye out for sales on a new one.

Already did on a, what I thought was moderate, 1-2 shift. The thing sounds really cool in the upper rpm’s. Gauges are kind of cloudy so couldn’t really tell with my crappy eyes what it was taching but I hit the limiter in 2nd. Definitely looking forward to hitting the twisties with it.

The powerband is definitely different than the Harley’s. It has a pretty good midrange hit and pulls hard at the top. Wasn’t really expecting that.

I did take it for a spin, but if I want to ride straight roads I’ll ride the rolling recliner, not hunched in the fetal position. The canyons, even if they are bare of snow, have too much sand on the road until a good spring rain at this point.

She’s a runner! New fuel pump and rebuilt injectors. Now it just needs to be spring!
