Exactly why I’m currently doing a v8 swap because there were no local viable options for my cracked 42. Now it’s getting a 5.9 and 46re
But yes wranglerfix or even give b and g Chrysler a call they do a lot with the mopar ecu and swap stuff may be worth a call
You will get a cel. And I assume you need to ground the NSS. So it isn’t in the mix. That may be all you need to do. I haven’t done the swap. Thought about it quite a bit. But a tune/flash should help with drivability if you have any issues. Not sure if it helps
So today I begin the magnum swap in my wife’s 04 rhd! This is going to be good. I have plans to try something different as far as wiring goes just need to check a few thing first.
Plan - use the entire drivetrain minus tcase from a Durango R/T
utilize the harness I have for a 99 Tj as well...

Low anti squat and poor driving/ reaction. If you take the time to make sure your geometry is correct or as much as it can possibly be you will find yourself with a much more planted front end even on some inclines couple that with the as stated “hold my beer” that we’ve all done you get result...
So did all the slave stuff and lines end up fitting and reaching where they needed to go?? I have a 04 carrier and a 99 that the trans is out of and I have it all I just haven’t really messed with it so it does fit!! I guess I just need to start plugging stuff together to see.. it’s my wife’s...
Dan I’m doing the same swap. I have a few questions tho I posted a thread with it anyway you could check it out. I’m needed some help understanding some things with a specific aspect of the wiring I’m hoping someone could help me out with. Thanks!! Build looking great!!!!
Alright guys. Getting ready to start a new project. A rhd 5.9 swap. I have a few things I can’t wrap my head around as of yet..
Backstory.
I have a full running working (daily driver) donor vehicle 1999 Durango slt. With a 5.9
Planning on putting the entire drivetrain minus tcase into my...
I ended up building my own heim crossover setup a slight wobble at 35 occasionally from what I assume is the tie rod rolling but idk. Beefy and solid. Gotta relocate the trackbar to get the angles matching that also might help the wobble. Clearances are okay for now we will see when I add hydro...
