16V in a Sammy is COOL.... I had a Sidekick with the 16V in it and that thing would scoot... It was a swap I wanted to do to my Sammy when I had it.. But I hat rodded the 1.3 instead.

Now I've got other issues.... My shutoff switch on my compressor is leaking. 🤨 So can't use my angle drill on the arms. So that means dropping each arm individually to drill and tap them. Which really isn't terrible just more work. But will make it easier to do once it's down. Got the tabs...

Funny.... 🤪 Nope I've been fighting that urge and know it's got to wait until this fall. I'm sure the tuning from FRP will be $$$. The tuning from Sound German is already paid for. 4 credits are $50 each.

Got the shifter for the 8HP70 today. This thing is SWEET 😋. Wasn't cheap either but as they say you get what you pay for. I'd also opted for Blue shifter knobs instead of Black. And I added the Park lockout for going from Drive to Reverse quickly. It'll be fun getting it installed...

I don't know yet.. I want to play with it for a bit first. Obviously the best way to fix it would be to weld these tabs to the arms but I don't do Tig... Or I could just put them back on with hose clamps.... but we know what can happen.

This is the tab for the height sensors. It's made to wrap around the side of control arm. So my thought is to drill 3 holes in them and then drill and tap the arms. I'll carry hose clamps too for backup... And NO heavy duty clamps won't fit in the slot so that isn't a possibility. l

Yes... Because hyd jacks can leak. And I'd only found one hyd jack that had a higher lift. And it was $140..... This will work fine.

Picked up a screw jack for the Jeep. It's goes up to 19.5". And I added a axle cradle to it too.

Since I'll be playing on the rocks during this trip I wanted to CYA in case I dented the tie-down points that are welded to the axes. I'm not as worried about the rear ones as I am the front ones. So I purchased a set of axle straps to carry with me for just in case.
