Im afraid you’re going to need to keep looking. The throttle shaft leak is above the MAP sensor and will have a lesser affect than what your experiencing. The MAP sensor is blind to air infiltration downstream of it. That’s where you should be looking.

The VSS tells the PCM when to transition to idle, which also affects spark and fueling. Depending on the year this may or may not be mapped out in HPT.
