Thanks! Im digging it too, I was debating long term either going with blue, red, or a combo of both for the tailgate, doors, and front end with the fenders, grill, and hood.

Been MIA for a minute! The 2.4 got some upgrades! Got a gobi roof rack for cheap, took a trip up to the Adirondacks for the weekend. Snagged some cheap half doors for the LJ, thinking of getting a red tailgate too. Also started flight lessons!

Registered the green machine! Daily driving to work to get the initial 500 break in miles done. Threw the tan soft top on too, digging the look. I won’t lie the smittybilt soft top seems a lot more seamless than the best top.

Okay so fuel delivery/components should be all set then. Maybe there’s a vacuum leak under load? I know if the leak was present during idle the RPMs would spike, but I think under load it would cause it to bog down.

Created my fuel pressure gauge, stayed at ~46psi the entire test drive, even at idle. After shutting it off the psi dropped to zero after about 30 seconds. I know it says the range is 44.2-54.2psi, so does mine seem on the low side? Let me know your thoughts.

Schrader Valve 1/8” barb x 1/8” female NPT 1/8” Fuel line I think with this setup I could use the female npt / male barb fittings on each end of the hose and thread the schrader valve and the gauge I linked into them. Let me know if I messed up I’m kinda a noob 😂

I tried looking for 2.4 fuel rail with a schrader valve and couldn’t find a single one. Are you saying to put a schrader valve between the original fuel line and the fuel stem off the fuel rail?

I’ll have to have an in-line gauge since there is no Schroeder valve. Gonna have to get creative

Swapped the regulator and no change. Even in 4th gear going on a slight down hill I put the pedal to the floor and it was struggling to pick up speed quick, so something definitely isn’t right (sanity check). I was able to read voltage on a the O2 sensors, is .84 volts while driving normal?

In that case I might snag it. I will say I never replaced the fuel regulator, which people said never fails…. I’ll try that first before going on to data output

It seems like whenever I press connect it pops up a prompt to pay. Did they paywall it entirely?

I have one for my iPhone called “FIXD” that allows you to select sensors, but I’m not exactly sure how or if I can get nice readouts like that. Is this the app you use?

I did do the rebuild myself. I replaced main bearings and rod bearings along with new rings. No smoking gun signs. I got a light hone done by a shop to get cross hatching back as they said everything checked out and was in spec, but they thought the rings from the previous rebuild may not have...

Hey everyone, I have an update. I completed the rebuild of the 2.4 and have it back in. Took it for a test drive and it still feels sluggish which is still accompanied by this droning noise when I accelerate. Still no CEL. I swapped the exhaust section with the cats just to double check and...

@Wranglerfix @reddvltj Swapped the cat exhaust and no change. Looks like PCM testing it is!

I’m gonna try swapping my exhaust section with cats with my dads just to make sure it isn’t restricted airflow. If that doesn’t solve it I think you’ll be receiving my PCM 😂
