Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

Do you think it could be caused by tire squirm? Even at walking speed? I was also wondering if it could be caused by old tires.(2021) I don’t know, maybe the car was parked in one place for a long time and they’ve flattened, but when the car is on the lift, nothing like that shows up.

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

sorry my translater is AL (chat GPT) This was still before straightening the axle shaft… now, when the car is lifted, everything runs about 99% straight, until the car is back on its wheels.

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

Hello, so, some new updates. After alignment and reassembly, the wheels behave exactly the same when driving forward and backward. It also happens when the car is in neutral and I push it forward and backward. Could there be a fault in the differential? Thank you

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

I looked at it and read it as well… I just thought I might have translated it wrong, because it’s very cheap. Here, even the cheapest single axle costs €330.

And is that the price for both the right and the left side? Does it include the bearing as well?

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

I shop through eBay and Amazon as well. The shipping for one shaft shows around 90 dollars. For example, for a bearing it’s 20 dollars.

I believe you, it’s just that there are very few TJs here in Slovakia, and my LJ is probably the only one.”

Can such shafts be searched by part number? Do you know what numbers they might have? The numbers that are stamped are unreadable. Disc brakes, without ABS. I would be very grateful.”

And it doesn’t matter whether it’s a TJ or an LJ, right?”

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

Just to be sure… are both drive shafts the same? So I know what to look for if I want to buy new ones. I looked at some numbers, but they’re really hard to read. Or is it enough to just look at the Dana 44

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

“With the naked eye and with the wheels mounted, it wasn’t visible… it can be seen on the brakes that they move up and down.”

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

I replaced one bearing because the driver’s side was moving in and out, while the passenger side remained unchanged… both sides now behave the same. By the way, there’s no stabilizer bar, which leads me to believe it was driven on rough terrain. Could it possibly have a U-shaped detachable...

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

Yes, I could try this… should I take the wheels off?

Rear wheels try to move further apart from each other while driving forward

The wheels turn like this after about 5 meters, then they keep going the same way (the camber only changes when switching between driving forward and backward).
