Prob not hard at all. I read they're spot welded on the rear, match up the bolts and have the longer ones tacked in place.

I guess I can air it down, put it on and call it good. It looks like that, cut the bumpers down, or add longer studs to the carrier are my options.

My daughter finally bought a matching 31x10 spare for her 97 TJ. This is mounted on a factory Ravine wheel. In my searches I guess this is a common issue that a 31x10 won't fit with the wheel facing out? When I mount it up I have zero threads from the 3 mounting bolts coming through the lug nut...

When I pulled my daughters doors the other day I noticed that one pin on each door has the threads broken off. Can I tap those hinge pins out with a hammer? I'm reading on the net and many people say the entire hinge needs to be replaced. I wanted to get to them today but I just ran out of time

My daughter has decided to finally pull the doors off her '97 TJ. One hinge pin is broken on each side. I looked and found replacement pins but none in stainless, which I thought would be a good idea. Anyone know if stainless door hinge pins are available? And side mirrors... does the forum...

I bought some of these from a MG parts site, MG as in the European car, and way cheaper than what your looking at. As far as cleaning they sort of snap into some spring steel keepers or holders, Easy to pull off and put on.
