    Wrong sliding uppers?

I bought this set of sliding uppers a while back thinking they were the Bulldawg TJ uppers. The guy I bought them off didn't have the hardware, so I bought a new set from Bulldawg. No matter what I do they don't seem to fit though. There's a big gap at the top of the door, and it seems like the...

    Lower Steering Shaft Replacement Options

97-01 will all use the same shaft, slightly shorter than the 02-06 one, due to the longer steering box. If you're not in need of a bearng I have a shaft that I literally only bought to take the bearing from, and the shaft itself is too short for my 06.

TJ Steering Shafts and Bearings: What I Know

The 97-02 crown shaft is 25% on Amazon right now. I just bought one to yank the bearing/block off of. If I can track down a micrometer I'll measure the old one when it comes out. Crown Automotive (52078705) Steering Shaft, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BYNL006/?tag=wranglerorg-20

TJ Steering Shafts and Bearings: What I Know

Literally cheaper to buy both the borgeson and the 97-02 crown and take the bearing off. Well, pretty close anyways.

TJ Steering Shafts and Bearings: What I Know

So the. Issue I've run into is I had such bad death wobble that the input shaft on my steering box was chewed to absolute hell, and was giving me a lot of slop. Meaning that the connecting shaft you're referring to swapping over is equally destroyed. I'm mainly replacing the shaft for this...

TJ Steering Shafts and Bearings: What I Know

So, I've been looking everywhere for a Crown, or Mopar lower for my 06. Can't find either one, and I ended up ordering the Borgeson. I'm thoroughly convinced that with 200k I'll need to replace that bearing as well. Did anyone ever find a bearing that worked? And is there a rebuild kit for...

    Lower Steering Shaft Replacement Options

So, I've replaced everything steering related in my 06 except the shafts, and still have a bit of a wobble problem (significantly better than it was though). The input shaft on the old gearbox was chewed to absolute hell when I took it out, so I can only assume the shaft was as well. (my dumb...

    Pulsating brakes solution?

So I just realized I left out one important detail that led me to believe it's the prop. valve. The brake light has been on since this startded and beeps at me everytime I start moving from a dead stop.

    Pulsating brakes solution?

I've got a 44 with discs that I'll be swapping in after October (insanely busy work month here in Salem). I guess I'll find out then if that's the case. I don't want to bother fixing the drums now if I'm just getting rid of them in a few weeks. If I had issues other than that minor pulse id be...

    Pulsating brakes solution?

Brand new, pads rotors and calipers all done together, pads and rotors moved to new diff when I did the swap.

    Pulsating brakes solution?

So I've had a consistent pulsating issue with my brakes for a while now, they still function and stop as they should, other than the pulsing pedal. Initially I thought it might have been bad calipers, so I replaced both of them. Pulsing persisted. Over the last week I've replaced my entire...

The Official SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) Thread

Out of curiosity, I'm going to be putting an adjustable track bar in soon, will that angled bracket still be necessary?

    Control arm recommendation?

So I just had a quick question here. I got another set of C4x4 arms for the rear and I'm about to swap in a Dana 44. The arms I bought are Tier 2 with a Johnny joint on only one end. The JJ should be going on the Diff end and not the Frame correct? That makes sense to me but I figured I'd double...

The Official SYE (Slip Yoke Eliminator) Thread

So quick question, I've got a 2.5" lift on my 06 TJ. Stock length control arms front and rear, I'm planning on putting adjustable arms up front next weekend, along with new ball joints. I get noticable clunking front the T-case / front drive shaft on takeoff, but ONLY in 2WD. In 4WD it's smooth...

    Control arm recommendation?

I've already completely redone my rear end so I've dealt with all the seized bolts. Big ass breaker bar will free it one way or another.

    Control arm recommendation?

I just ordered the T2 set from C4x4 Appreciate the input guys, I'll I probably redo the rear later on if I like them just to keep everything matching.

    Control arm recommendation?

I'd love to go that route but they're definitely too expensive for me. Ill likely end up ordering either the core 4x4 or the BDS that were mentioned here, they both look like good mid-grade setups.

    Control arm recommendation?

Appreciate the input guys, I'll be checking these out. I know there's probably nothing wrong with the OEM ones, I just don't like the open C design, in my head it just looks flimsy and I'd feel a lot better having some sturdy tubes instead.

    Control arm recommendation?

2 1/2 lift. Mostly street, but I have all intentions of taking it offroad eventually. The worst it deals with atm is the lovely pothole littered roads here in MA.
