There appears to be some type clip or spring that holds the ash tray into the dash. I know there is one attached to the ash tray itself, but what holds it into the dash.

Can’t remember where I read it, but someone was suggesting using brake cleaner on their seats to clean them. Anyone tried this?

Check engine light came on showing minor evap leak. Replaced gas cap and cleared code. A while later light came back on. Where should I go next? Visually check hoses? Smoke test? How long after clearing a code will the computer reset so I can try to pass emission test?

On my full door soft top where the door surround goes into the tub, is there supposed to be a grommet or anything there. The pin on the surround is really loose where it fits into the tub. Rattle drives me crazy.

2001 TJ’s 4.0 auto. Intermittent code P0456. Comes and goes. Bought a new gas cap at Autozone and cleared code. After a month or so, the code came back. Reading, says to check purge valve and several other things to check. Where is purge valve? What else should I check?

Ok, so I need rear bump stops and extensions. The front needs extensions, cups and bump stops. I am relatively mechanical. Been reading, researching and watching videos. For some reason, this is slightly intimidating. Is it really a fairly straight forward operation?

Wanting to order these shocks. I have a 2.5” lift. Do I just go with the ones listed for 2-3” lift?

The sail panels on my full doors are badly faded. I want to remove and paint. I see a couple screws. if I remove the screws, do they come out easily?

How often to rotate tires? 33’s. Spare is new. Tires have less than 10,000 miles. Never been rotated.

I took my trim panel off my 2001 to to replace some loose clips. Why does the bracket behind the trim panel not line up with the pull straps? Is it so same door can be used with different trim/ years? Full doors, by the way.

There is a metal clip that goes in the top of the ashtray hole. Mine is missing and ashtray falls out at every bump. Davy’s jeep wants $30 for one. Anyone know of another source for this metal clip.

While trying to measure springs to determine lift ( please see my previous post on this), i noticed that on my rear I only have the bump stop cups. On the front, no cups. Assuming I have a 2.5” lift, do I need extensions cups and bumpers front and extensions and bumpers rear? What length...

PO put bedliner in tub. I hate it. Considering either Bedrug or Bedtred. Looks like they use a stick on Velcro to hold then in place. I don’t think it will stick to the rough bedliner. Thoughts?
