Does anyone have an educated guess on whether a 2005 tj ecm will work in a 2006? (With alike transmissions of course) (4.0)

Is there any way to look at a stand alone 2005-2006 ecm and identify if it was a skim or non skim Jeep? These eBay sellers list ecms and they don’t seem too concerned about skim at all.

Well, I would love to get my hands on the manual transmission one so I could simplify an auto to manual swap, but $1100 is a little hard to justify. It's cool that you are making these for the 05-06 Jeep though.
