    Does it typically happen after you come to a stop, from highway/interstate driving in hot weather? Could be injector heat soak, there is a service bulletin for that - misfire cyl 3. Have you checked the codes at all?

    Have Cruise Control But HVAC Vent Control Doesn't Work

    Take a look at the vac lines right near the battery. One comes out of the heater core area, and makes a sharp bend and then goes into a check valve. Mine was cracked there, just enough to have the AC controls not work. Took 5 minutes to replace with new line.

    I agree, looks like this engine should work. Ideally you should buy that engine, and use it as a donor to your engine. The 4.0 stroker websites have a lot of information regarding the different year blocks,heads,etc. and which are the best. This is a good website...
