    Horn Relay.

I have an on going problem with the Check Engine light on constantly and occasional poor running. I have replaced TPS and Idle air control valve (with genuine parts). I also have PO123 code logged. From previous posts I see that the TPS can sometimes suffer from interference via the Clockspring...

    TPS code

I have the check engine light on all the time. It came on when the battery finally gave up as I previously posted. Since my last post I have replaced the Throttle poition sensor, Idle air control valve (cured the cutting out on return to idle problem). And removed and cleaned all plugs and...

    Battery Flattening Issues

A couple of months ago I started to get a flat battery every couple of days. I thought (because I have no idea how old the battery is) that it was probably time for a change. I have fitted a good quality heavy duty battery. The problem is still there and possibly worse, as in flat every day now...

    Visit from Obama

Here in the UK we have just suffered from a visit from Obama. Do you think that the president of the United States woul hand over your nations sovereignty to an unelected government comprised of Canada, Mexico and the rest of the countries of South America. I was wondering if there was a 'perfect storm' where you can suffer DW. I experienced this yesterday and the circumstances were as follows. I had just come round a fairly sharp curve with some steering lock still on when I planted one front wheel heavily into a large deep hole in the road...

15x8 Mammoth D window steel rims

The Mammoth rims have been fitted for less than 18 months and are in a very poor condition. The paint is flaking off in large chunks revealing heavy corrosion at the joint between centre plate and outer rim. Because of this, I am replacing all five. These rims have had at least 90%. Road use, so...

    End of the line.

The last ever Land Rover Defender rolls off the production line here in the UK today. I have owned several in its various models for many years and I am sad to see its end due to emissions and safety concerns. What I find surprising is that it will not be replaced until 2018. The Defender has...

    Anti 4x4

How strong is the anti 4x4 feeling as a result of Climate change . Over here they hate us until times of difficulty like floods and heavy snow.At these times we become the hero's of the hour then when the floods subside and the snow melts, its back to being hated. We cannot win. If you live in...

What else is needed with a 2" lift

I have a 2" suspension lift on my 2000 Tj. I have a set of spacer blocks to lower the transmission and correct the propshaft angles. My question is, should I fit them if I don't have any problems with the driveline as it is ? I am running 31/10.50/15 mud tyres on 8x15 deep dish rims.
