it is a huge PITA. the rubber gasket you have to put between the flare and the body is obnoxious. all the reviews i read said removing the old flares was the hardest part. that was not the case for me at all. its worth it when its all done but i said a few choice words trying to keep that gasket...

I have 2” aluminum ones on mine. They were there when I bought it. I have had it for 2 yrs and haven’t had any issues. If I had it to do myself I would probably still pick metal over plastic.

I went super cheap. I bought 4 wall brackets from menards and put foam pipe insulation around them to keep from scratching the paint. Probably cost $6.

compared to every vehicle i have ever owned, the jeep turning over is pretty weak. always starts and runs great but cranks pretty slow in comparison. if you have noticed a change since you have owned it then that is a puzzle to figure out. i'm just stating that its been my norm for years.

I used this stuff on my doors a couple years ago. They were very sun faded. Cleaned them first with a degreaser I already had. 2 years later and it still looks new. No cracking, peeling or flaking. I would definitely recommend it. I probably got it on amazon but I can’t guarantee it.
