    '02 Dodge/Cummins RC 4x4 5speed, tweaked just a little bit . . . getting ready for another moose hunt up the Alaska Highway. Rear pinion seal/Spicer u-joint, and check/grease everything. Elk are also open when we get there, and yes, Model 70 in .300 Win.

    We use VHF on the logging roads here . . . Icom wiring calls for a fused positive and negative hot off the battery.

    Just curious . . . what model radio. Should be three small letters on the face somewhere. eg. RBK 'Allpar Radio' is a good site. Some of the OEM radios are made by major manufactures like Alpine, etc.

    The better quality stainless hardware can be found at most marine supply stores. Stainless just isn't as strong as graded iron hardware. As mentioned . . . 30 ftlbs is too much for your application.

    Update: After 5 weeks waiting, the 'Nilight' switch was delivered. Installed, it worked for 3 weeks. Faceplant has some videos of a 'fix' for the wornout OEM switch. Fog lights now work, but dash lights don't. Am trying to find/order the OEM $$$ switch.

    Have a '1Factory' radio in an '02 Dodge/Cummins. It is AM/FM Cassette & disc . . . and modified by 1Factory for SiriusXM. These are the OEM radio units that have the radio/cassette/disc combinations: RBB, RAD, RBY, RBT, REH. Mine is the RBB unit.

    '04 TJ has #103 bulbs with a removable blue sleeve over them. It seems the #103 bulb isn't available anymore. What are you folks using as replacements that still retain the factory look/brightness? Thank you.
